Calcium Food/Sesame Seed Gomashio
Below is a list of Calcium Rich Foods. The first chart is dairy foods and the chart below it seeds, nuts, vegetables etc.
Unless it is whole milk, there is not value in fat free or low fat. The nutrients in milk require the naturally occurring fats in milk to assimilate correctly. Refrain from low fat, non-fat, skim etc.
YOU HAVE TO EAT FATS IN ORDER TO LOSE FAT. YOUR BRAIN MUST HAVE CORRECT FATS!
In my practice, I rarely recommend Calcium. Most of us have plenty of Calcium in our bodies. The problem is getting it to where it needs to be!
Oftentimes it is a problem with not having enough Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) which is an absolute requirement for both protein and calcium absorption.
When I do I use a Micro Crystalline Ionized Calcium such as Calphonite.

SESAME SEED GOMASHIO/ GOMASIO
This is used as a garnish over almost anything
- Wash and dry roast sesame seeds in a heavy skillet such as cast iron etc.
- Add 1 part Celtic Sea Salt for every 10-15 part seeds. OR, can substitute
- Kombu/Kelp Powder at 1 part for every 5-10 part seeds
- Constantly stir over medium heat until golden in color and beautifully scented
- Remove and grind in a traditional SURIBACHI or can use a food processor
NOTE: This recipe is a matter of taste. Some will like a little less salt others perhaps a bit more. Keep working with it.
